2. When they started calling "Nascar Dads" a voting group I said Fuck Nascar.
Along with about everything else inbred, red neck, angry white trash pukes like! I would imagine the majority of Nascar fans, at least the ones that can read, voted for Bush both times.
Besides, the last time I watched the Daytona 500, was about the biggest crock of shit I've ever seen! With all the commercial time, I'd like to know how many of the 500 miles we actually got to watch?

3. Well, tune in to the 24 hrs, and you won't have any of that.
Endurance racing is a completely different animal altogether from NASCAR.

(I'm hoping you know that this isn't a NASCAR race, BTW)

4. Speed TV is about as bad as Spike
when it comes to advertisement air time. At the end of the 24hrs the add time will far out pace the race time.

5. I enjoy
watching NASCAR on occasion but most of the racers I've kept up with are either retired or long in the tooth and I haven't voted for a republican since 1976. White trash rednecks come in varying political persuasions.

6. I've seen a number of live Nascar races and enjoyed them...
lots of action, no ads, almost everyone had fun.

Democrats, esp. progressive Democrats, will have a difficult time winning enough elections to effect needed social change if we keep referring to millions of people as "inbred, red neck, angry white trash pukes."

May as well call rap music fans a "bunch of n------."

8. Do I REALLY have to go off on another NASCAR hater?
With 8 NASCAR drivers in the field for the 24 Hours.

9. Question for you
Can you drive a race car at high speeds while about two or three inches away from another car's bumper for a long distance? Answer- probably not. I am not a fan of NASCAR but it's time to quit slamming everybody who enjoys the sport. I personally know some fans who vote for Democrats every time. Me, I'm sorta like those white trash pukes. Heck I can read, probably better than you, and I never voted for bush.
And as far as the actual 500, it's unfortunate, but commercials rule tv. And that's in every sporting event, as well as every other thing on commercial tv. Perhaps you should attend a race and watch it commercial free. Oh wait, racing is beneath you. Never mind.

7. I remember seeing "time trials" for the 24-hours, at night, in 1970...
Thrilling experience to see the old CAN-AM cars, howling like jets at 220+ on the back stretch, and all for free.
