THE HEELS ARE BACK1!1!
All they have to do to repeat as national champs is to win the rest of their games.

2. What ever happened to Tyler Hansbrough?
He allegedly plays for the not so stellar Indiana Pacers, but it seems that he never gets in games. Could it be that the Pacers made a terrible draft pick and now have to deal with him taking up a roster space? In other words, maybe Hansbrough isn't as good as Dick Vitale and the rest of the Carolina nation thinks.

3. "Dick Vitale and the rest of the Carolina nation"??
Are you referring to the uber-annoying announcer sometimes known as "Duke Vitale"??

5. There's a very long list of great college players that weren't great pros
Larry Johnson was an absolute beast in college, mediocre pro at best,

Too many Duke players to mention,

Randolph Childress, scored the most points in any ACC Tourney, never played a minute in the NBA

I could go on and on.

7. Roy Marble, Ed Horton
Kevin Gamble, Bill Johnson, Greg Stokes, Michael Payne. Back when Iowa actually had a basketball program. None of the aforementioned guys were particularly good NBA players, but they were tremendous college players. Si I understand what you are saying. The NBA is an entirely different world. But Hansbrough was considered by some Carolina people to be a can't miss type of prospect. And he may be ok in the future, but not right now. Maybe he should do the D-league thing. Or Europe.

6. He didn't go that high in the draft...13 I think...no one seemed to
think he could make the transition from college to pros...maybe they were right.
