Maryland Beats Duke, Storms the Court, Storms the Streets.
I understand beating Duke is kind of a big thing. And storming the court is one thing (when you're ranked too and havent actually won the ACC, just tied for first with still a game left). But then to take to the streets after winning a regular season game? That just seems stupid to me.

2. Its Duke.
I certainly don't like it but there is an intense and bitter rivalry between Maryland and Duke. Songs have been banned at Comcast because of obscene chanting at Duke. People wearing shirts saying Fuck Duke have been kicked out. I do not know when the "burning couch" thing started but I KNOW most of this is alcohol fueled.

6. It doesn't bother me
In fact I appreciate the kind of energy showed and it was probably a very emotional game. I remember attending a game where ASU defeated the defending National Champs Nebraska 19-0 in '96 and fans tore down the goal post and carried out of the stadium and down the street somewhere. It was just the 3rd game of the season and haven't even begun conference play at that point.

LOL. I've always wondered where the ripped out goal posts go after they are carried out! I mean nobody has a dorm room that big...
