Donovan was pretty far wide of the goal, considering how near the line he was (his next stride after the miss took him over the touch line)...that was not an easy angle to hit at

5. I join you in the mea culpa

I figured he was just going to get blown away. But I think the English game really brought out another gear I hadn't seen (much of) from him. And this hurts to say because he not only helped Everton whip Chelsea, he took out Ashley Cole. I tried finding some malice in it so I could go back to disliking him, but it was just unlucky.
