MSNBC: Tiger Woods
They are saying that Tiger looks more genuine. I don't buy it. His voice and pronunciation didn't sound genuine.

1. Tiger only allowed only 5 minutes for the interview?

2. Why don't they stop paying attention to him?
If they do, maybe he'll go away.

3. I listened to about 20 seconds of that interview and turned it off,
when I realized I don't care what he has to say anymore.

I didn't post a link to the interview either.

9. I don't care about him either
He's never given an answer in his life that wasn't ridiculously phony and guarded. That was enough of a turn off, before it was coupled with the cursing and club throwing. Now we'll be treated to bad swings or missed putts followed by a restrained outburst, more example of phony. He'll cut off the explosions only because he thinks he has to.

I'll watch the Masters, as always, but I have a feeling the ratings, while very high, won't be as stratospheric as predicted. Nor will the ratings sustain in subsequent events. Many friends have expressed similar opinion, that they have turned blase toward Tiger. He gave us four months of hiding and a few pathetic announcements. The aura is gone. That lends itself to indifference.

5. I'm still on the fence with Woods

I feel as if I'd be "out-of-integrity" -- if that makes sense. Same with Barry Bonds. Their personal and professional lives are surrounded by grief and/or lies that are not the way I conduct myself. I can't support that. I can't follow that.

12. Meh....
I don't really understand the demand for these interviews. Tiger needs to repair his personal life before he needs to repair his brand.
