1. Hi
It went okay. There was more for them to do than anticipated. But the Good News is that none of the growrhs they removed were cancerous. I'm still tired out and weak, but I am happy. Thank you, Mr. T.

7. Thanks, guys!
I made it through a day of high school girls AAU basketball today. I'm unable to remember if the doctors said I should be doing that, or not. Who really knows? Man, I'm paying for it now! But I'll be ready for the fights on HBO and Showtime later tonight.

9. Did you see the Abraham/Dirrell fight?

I hope Dirrell's alright. That was pretty classless of Abraham, especially the comments he made right after the fight.

10. Yes.
I thought Dirrell fought the best fight of his career. Very impressive. Then came one of boxing's ugly moments.

I can't stand having the crap on the ring to begin with. Once it gets wet, people slip. The only remedy -- something I've actually seen done -- is for the referee to pour a little soda on the slick ad to make it sticky. Still, why have them?

Dirrell had already slipped. So Abraham was aware that the ring, especially his corner, was slick. He knew that Andre was down. If he had the decency to say that he had made an error in the heat of the moment, the DQ would probably be enough. But it got even worse, including when he saw it on replay.

Referee Cole made a few errors in the fight, too. When Abraham was hit and fell into the ropes, that was a knockdown (if only the ropes hold you up, which I'm sure you know, but others might not). Also, Abraham decked Dirrell; their feet were not tangled, and it was a clean knockdown. Under those circumstances, along with the tempo of the last few rounds, he needed to be much closer to the action. He was too far away from it to protect Dirrell when he slipped. It's too bad that there are not more top-notch referees today, especially for this type of fight.

I think it is likely that Dirrell sustained more than a moderate concusion. I felt sick listening to him after the fight, as that level of confusion that many minutes after being out is a huge warning sign.

11. I watched the Chambers fight in your honor last week.
Poor guy tried, but he couldn't even get near Klitschko.
