What's with the "K-State" on their jerseys?

Are they the only school whose name starts with K and ends with State?

I don't think so.

Bet they wouldn't do that shit if Jack Lambert could still walk.

1. Well...
USC isn't the only school that's USC

USC=University of Southern California
USC=University of South Carolina

Also ASU and ASU
ASU=Arizona State University
ASU=Arkansas State University

Though can't remember what they wear on their jerseys so you may have a point.

3. You're right
I was thinking in terms of Division 1-A(I still don't know wth FBS means) college football(despite being a college basketball thread) teams though Appalachian State did beat a top 10 Division 1 team and was even receiving votes for the top 25 most of the year!

8. School name's ok but work on the mascot
As if it's the only school in a mountainous region.

Pick something really stupid like Tar Heel.

Who the fuck else would want to be known as a Tar Heel?

11. Or a buckeye, boll weevil, or banana slug.
Or my favorite, the RI school of design. Their team is the "Nads" so people in the crowd yell "Go NADS".

12. This year our mascott is a chick.
We could potentially make out with the Mountaineer lady. Try that with any other NCAA mascott and you'll get a padded cell. Well I guess the Virginia Tech turkey probably wouldn't shoot your ass off with a muzzle loader.

in the western part of the state. :-)

I actually dreamed about WVU, and one of its most illustrious students, last night...
