Ryan Zimmerman Traded to Dodgers for a Chicken Soft Taco from Del Taco

WASHINGTON (Yahoo). The Washington Nationals are expected to announce that they've traded Third Baseman Ryan Zimmerman to the Los Angeles Dodgers today. Mr. Zimmerman had, by far, his best season last season, so the Nationals felt they could get the best return for him.

"We love Ryan, and we're going to miss him terribly," said Nationals GM, Mike Rizzo. "However, it was at this time, and knowing where Ryan is in his career, that we thought we could get the most for him. We know how valuable he is and right now his biggest contribution to the team is getting us the most return."

It is believed the All-Star 3rd Baseman will be traded for the Chicken Soft taco, from Los Angeles-based Mexican Franchise, Del Taco.

Los Angeles Manager Joe Torre said that he is looking forward to Mr. Zimmerman joining the team, but that he regrets that he had to lose his taco.

"That was going to be my lunch," stated Torre, "But Ryan has already promised to buy me a new one. I like this kid."
