1. A brazillion more DU'ers than will be admitting it on Friday |
|
I'll be watching. I love Tiger. He's my homie. We're from the same neighborhood and learned to golf on the same par 3.
Besides, I'm of the opinion that just like a former President that we all know and um... love, his private life is none of our fucking business.

First, it's the Masters, so i'd be watching anyway. Second, i'm a Tiger fan. Third, i'm bored with the whole personal life thing. Don't approve, but don't really care.
Time for fairways and greens. GAC

so I'll be watching.
Probably will have the sound off though. The love affair with Tiger before is only going to be worse here.
I'll watch him hit shots, but that's about it.

6. I'll watch, per usual, but the ratings won't be as astronomical as predicted |
|
The Masters will get a bump but very soon golf ratings will drop from typical, even with Tiger in the field. He's returning as a jerk, not a hero. That's hardly an attractant. There have already been several awkward reintroductions, the statements and news conferences. The time lag from the initial incident naturally siphons curiosity.
It all adds up to less of a restoration than is generally predicted. For one thing, Tiger has already conceded he will be even more of a phony. He said Monday his on course reactions to poor shots and great shots will be more tame. The guy has never given of himself in post round interviews, merely bland crap followed by a robotic, "You got it buddy," conclusion. Transfer that to the course and you steadily lose a percentage of interest level.
