Re Ndamukong Suh and The NFL Draft: What's The Over/Under...
on the number of times that hack sports analysts will refer to the Johnny Cash song when discussing Suh?

As for the draft, I'd take him with the 1st pick without question. QBs are a huge risk. You're much better off taking a good pass rushing lineman.

1. I thought a lot about this
I don't see Suh falling any further then #2--Detroit.

I think St. Louis will draft Sam Bradford since he is the highest rated QB in the draft and they recently released Marc Bulger. Without him they have Kyle Boller and AJ Feely and St. Louis will not try to build a franchise behind those two players. I think Suh is the top talent in the draft but a DT's impact to effect the outcome of a game is limited compared to a QB. Of course eating up blocks, stuffing the run, and getting pressure on the QB is all very important.

So if I was forced to make a bet, Sam Bradford #1, Suh #2.

As a Cardinals fan, I would be more worried about them drafting Suh in the short term. Bradford played in a spread offense and often that doesn't translate well so I think it'll take time for him to adjust to playing in a pro style offense. They should be able to sweep the Rams with him first couple of years, however Bradford has the best tools you could ask for in the draft. The reason why I would be more worried about Suh both long term and short term is because AZ has some O-line problems and with Chris Long and Leonard Little and each side of him it could be problematic. With that said I'm fairly confident St. Louis will draft Bradford as an effort to build a team around him.

2. When In Doubt, Draft A Pass Rusher No. 1
That's the rule that I would live by. College QBs are too big of a gamble to take number one overall.
