Mets flatten Superbras..
Jason Bay hit his first home run for the Mets to back another stingy outing by Johan Santana, and New York beat the slumping Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 in the opener of a doubleheader Tuesday for its fifth straight victory.

Hmm..LA is now 8-11 after 19 games. A much different start from last year's 13-6...

Go Giants!!

4. So am I!
But they're tied in the second game.

But the Rox are ahead of the Snakes. I hope Upton has Ophidiophobia too.

5. The first time Arizona plays Colorado
I can't watch it. They moved the game to Fox Sports Arizona PLUS, which must be some channel I have to pay more for. On regular Fox Sports AZ, they have shown the Suns game last night and Coyotes tonight so I'm not complaining very much as those are playoff games. :bounce:

7. You don't have most every Snakes game telivised on basic cable?????
Edited on Tue Apr-27-10 08:55 PM by El Supremo
Primitive. I thought that nAZis liked baseball.

On edit: the Mets are about to take both games and the Rox are way ahead, but that's to be expected since No-no Ubaldo is pitching. I just wish we didn't have four pitcher on the DL.

8. Actually almost all are on Fox Sports Arizona
Though with the Coyotes and Suns playoff games the last 2 nights I think they moved it to another channel so they could air those games.

Red Wings killed them in the second period, scoring 3 goals, including one with 4 seconds left and coming off a 5-3 power play.

12. Goals late in the period are a hockey player's biggest morale crusher.

You can see it in the game tonight. The Coyotes had no life in this third period....that goal crushed them and took all the wind out of their sails.

Hell of a year though, despite losing this series. Not many had them even making the playoffs (myself included), so to play the way they did all year was a pleasant surprise for their fans. Never fun losing such a big game, but they have no reason to hang their heads, that's for sure.
