2. Always heard that the Bay Area was such a nice place
Hard to tell based on the few representatives that hang around here.

10. Not unless the Rams get realigned out of the division
until they do, the Niners can finish no worse than third.

12. The Rams suck.
They really, really, really suck.

Even a team from the MAC, like Notre Dame :-) , could beat them. Thus, the Niners, while admittedly mediocre, are in no danger of finishing behind them for the forseeable future.

13. I completely forgot about the Rams.
Yeah, the Niner's ought to finish ahead of them.

15. I disagree
They stacked the O-line with their first round picks to help out there power running game with a very good back in Frank Gore. The defense is solid except they're somewhat lacking in the secondary but they are not too bad in that department. Taylor Mays should be a nice addition but I don't expect him to make an immediate impact. Patrick Willis is a very good player and a leader on that defense.

They don't have much of a QB situation, Alex Smith is the #1 heading into training camp. He hasn't been impressive but he's still young and has nice targets especially in Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree.

I don't know why people here act like San Francisco is some kind of awful team. They lost 7 games by 6 points or less so it wasn't like they were getting blown out by these teams. Also they played two very good teams tough, it took Brett Farve and a last second pass to beat them and they held Peyton Manning out of the endzone. It took a trick play for the Colts to beat the 49ers and they were in at home and in the Super Bowl.

I think they should be locks for first place in the NFC West but don't count out the Cardinals despite losing Warner. They got a QB that was solid in limited action in Matt Leinart, he has some mechanical issues he needs to work on but he can win games for them. They got a nice 1-2 punch in Hightower and Wells plus they have a solid well built defense especially on the D-Line. 2nd CB is their biggest weakness so I hope they can overcome that. Other than that there secondary is fine with Adrian Wilson, Kerry Rhodes, and Dominique Rogers-Cromartie.

With that said I expect St. Louis to take over the last spot. Also Seattle has more QB issues than SF or Arizona.

17. Yes, but
they lost one game by like 35 points didn't they?

Sorry, one bright spot for me in an otherwise mediocre season.

18. 1 to Atlanta
It was one of those games that everything that could go wrong, did. Like how Dre Bly intercepted a pass and high stepped prematurely therefore causing Atlanta to strip the ball. Very few teams DON'T have a game like that where they get demolished in every aspect of the game. Even when the Steelers won the Super Bowl, they were blown out by Tennesseee that year so it happens.
