Seattle Sounders to give fans refund after humiliating loss..

TUKWILA, Wash. – The front office of the Seattle Sounders FC was so embarrassed by Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy, they decided that the season ticket holders needed to be rewarded for sticking around to the end.

They're getting their money back.

The team announced on Sunday that they will be giving credits equal to the ticket price of Saturday's game to all 32,000 season ticket holders, to be used towards next year's season tickets.

They said they were doing this because of the "humiliating" performance that the team gave on Saturday. It was Seattle's worst home loss.

Puget Sound has gone big for the Sounders. They lead the MLS in attendance...and the 32,000 season ticket holders is a number that any team in any sport would envy..

2. I was at the match, and it was so much worse than that.

While I think a ticket credit is silly, at least the front office is waking up to the fact that things are not all right with the club.

The attacking mentality and drive of the last few weeks was non-existent. No one seemed at all interested in going forward, the defense was atrocious (the third goal was an absolute joke), and there was no life at all in the team after halftime.

We deserved to lose by more than four. LA took pity or something.
