It was reported just a few days ago that Tiger Woods withdrew from a PGA tournament due to a neck injury. Later it was reported that Woods was having joint problems in his neck. This made me wonder if this and some of the other injuries are due to Woods possiblly using steriods or performance enhancing drugs. So, does anyone think Woods' recent rash of injuries is a sign of use of steriods?
In previous years it was reported that one sign of steriod use is that a person's body suddenly starts to break down. One year the person would have one problem with one part of their body then the next year they would have other problems. Another sign was supposed to be joint injuries/problems.
I do realize their could be other causes for Woods' problems. I just wonder if the injuries are a sign of steriod use. I also wanted to know what others thought.

1. He emphatically stated he never used steroids... |
|
...of course, one probably wouldn't say HGH is a steroid.

3. ACL tears are really common |

more than you think. My son got one running to first base as a freshman in high school and I can assure you he was not taking steroids. Golfers have injuries all the time to the back and anything along the vertebrae and Woods has a very violent swing. Even guys like Ernie Els and Fred Couples who have a very smooth swings have back problems.

4. Many golfers suffer similar injuries |
|
Back and neck injuries are not uncommon, particularly among pros who swing with the intensity and force of someone like Woods.
