The Tour of California Has Started |
|
So if you're a bicycling enthusiast it runs all week on the Versus (VS)cable channel.
If you've never stood next to the road as a 50+ rider peleton passes by at speed, it's a real experience.
I hope to see it live next year. Maybe the Tour de France as well, especially if the euro keeps sliding.

1. Bicycling enthusiast that has no interest in watching it checking in! |

Cycling is one of those things that's much better to do as a participant rather than a spectator.
But the athleticism of cyclists is amazing.
Probably enhanced by chemicals but amazing nevertheless.
Just the mentality.
I get nervous on a bike when my speed exceeds 25 mph.

but at 60 I can't ride as much or as far as I used to. I enjoy the team strategy and memories of my own 50+ years on 2 wheels.

3. Excellent. Another poster for the Tour, this July. |

The California race has hurt the Giro. A lot of good riders came to the states.
