World Cup: North Korea will have Chinese fans

Few North Koreans will be able to cheer their team at the World Cup in South Africa. So the country is recruiting 1,000 Chinese fans.

The Beijing office of the North Korean Sports Committee is giving out tickets to the tournament, China's state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.

The Chinese fans will attend North Korea's games against Brazil and Portugal, Xinhua said.

They actually have to recruit Chinese people to give the appearance that the regime has travelling fans.

What pisses me off most about this is that Brazil and Portugal are going to have opportunity to pad their goal differentials thanks to the North Korea Sitting Ducks.

Honestly though...Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast in the same group? But for N.K., this would absolutely be the group of death.
