2011 NHL Winter Classic: Pittsburgh vs Washington at Heinze Field.
And a second outdoor game, a revival of The Heritage Classic, will be between Calgary and Montreal on Feb. 20th at McMahon Stadium in Calgary. This game still has to be approved by the Competition Committee, but I see no problems there.

Also, six teams, the Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, Phoenix Coyotes and San Jose Sharks will open their seasons overseas.

The Hurricanes and Wild will play two regular-season games against one another at Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland, on Thursday, Oct. 7 and Friday, Oct. 8. The Blue Jackets and Sharks will square off for two games at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, on Friday, Oct. 8 and Saturday, Oct. 9. Meanwhile, the Bruins and Coyotes will play each other at O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, on Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10.

1. Sounds great
The Bruins and Coyotes in Prague as well as the other International games and the game at Heinz.

I choose to check in here because I haven't had a PC in over a month and I got to say how does it feel about the Bruins? I mean that has to be rough, I thought they were going to win that series. It has been an interesting Stanley Cup Playoffs to say the least.

2. It was a brutal death for the Bruins.
However, I never expected them to get as far as they did anyways, so I personally wasn't too bummed out. It was a tough way to die though.

Good to see you back! :toast:

3. Why don't the Whalers just move to Helsinki?
At least it's a decent hockey town, unlike Mayberry, R.F.D. :eyes:
