Is everybody hungover today?
*burp*

I didn't have a drink all weekend, but I don't have to be back at work until late Tuesday night so I'm going to get my drunk on today. Actually, I'm not going to get too carried away. Gotta sixer chillin in the fridge that I'm going to get into when the Reds come on later today. That's the Cincinnati Reds. That's the first place in the NL Central Cincinnati Reds. That's the first place in the NL Central Cincinnati Reds who are playing the second place in the NL Central St. Louis Cardinals.

Yes, this is epic.

Actually, I'm not all that optimistic about the Reds' chances today. They are going up against Jaime Garcia who is 4 and 2 with an era of negative 2.36. How the guy has two losses, I don't know.

1. Epic matchup in San Francisco: Jimenez vs Lincecum
Jimenez, 9-1 (0.88ERA), vs. the two-time Cy Young Award Winner.

2. Holy smokes! 9-1 already?
That doesn't seem possible. And 0.88 is ridiculous.

4. It looks like Pujols is back to form
He hit three homers against the Cubs yesterday. I suspect he may go on a tear now.

7. Arroyo didn't even pitch to Pujols in his first at bat
Four fast balls all low and outside for a 3-1 count and then intentionally walked him.

6. Holy Hell. The Reds quadrupled Garcia's era by
touching him up for 2 runs in the first. It's a 9 inning game though. Here comes Arroyo.

10. I was just thinking to myself
"Why can't pitchers learn how to fucking hit" and then Arroyo gets a single on an 0-2 count with a man on base that leads to a run. I'm not a superstitious person, but things like that make me think sometimes. Arroyo is batting a buck thirty for the year, btw.

3-1 Reds going into the bottom of the fourth.

11. Arroyo intentionally walks Pujols agian but gets burned anyway
Could have been a lot worse. The final out was a 350 foot drive to the wall in left with 2 on. Cards up 4-3.

14. Woah Nelly!
This has the making of a big time blow out. Here comes Dusty with the bases loaded and one out. We need a ground ball to second. Cards up 8-3. Who's coming on?

15. 12-3 Cards after 6. I think I'll have another.
Well, at least we still have a chance of winning the series and we'll still be tied for first after today barring divine intervention.
