1. I was following on
ESPN play-by-play.

That 8th inning was very nice.

4. History
Colorado also came back from nine runs down to beat Florida 18-17 on July 4, 2008. The NL record for the biggest comeback is 11 runs, and the major league mark is 12.

7. Three teams share the major league mark of 12
The most recent -- on August 5th, 2001, Cleveland became the third team to scratch their names into the record books next to the 1911 Detroit Tigers and the 1925 Philadelphia A's when they came back from deficits of 12-0 and 14-2 to beat the Seattle Mariners 15 to 14.

5. Wouldn't you know it. Fricso was down by 9 runs also.
They had a 6 run 8th and are tied with the Reds in extra innings.

6. Sandoval made the throwing error
that allowed the game to be tied.

:banghead:

The Elias Sports Bureau has confirmed that never in the history of baseball have two teams overcome 10 to 1 deficits in the same day to win.

9. I just saw the highlights of the Giants game
and Pablo blew it. After that great comeback too. It would have been a close play at first anyway, but by throwing the ball away, Sandoval put the Reds in immediate scoring position....a gift run from the Panda. He shouldn't be playing third anyway, he doesn't have any range.
