Sox: "Go O's! (And for the Sox fans in town, enjoy the birthplace of Star Spangled Banner)"

1. Is O's short for Oroidoles?
Edited on Wed Sep-01-10 07:53 PM by hughee99
If I remember right, no team outside of NY had more players in the Mitchell report (or more accused juicers in general) than the O's. If you don't believe me, just ask Palmeiro or Brian Roberts.

Having said that, I think the Sox coffin is running out of places to put nails.

8. Yes, they got one too! Now go scream that at McD's or the Discovery Channel's
headquarters.

10. The St Louis Browns?
The Browns won their only AL pennant in '44, and lost the World Series to the Cardinals 4-2.

5. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the names in there
Being on the list doesn't necessarily mean that person is doing something illegal. As far as names go, you're correct. NY Mets is tied with the Orioles and NY Yankees surpasses both teams. Also looking by teams, they counted Roger Clemons for NYY and Boston. Also looking they counted Jeremy Giambi for Boston, Philly, KC, and Oakland so I probably can't get an accurate number if they are using the same player for several teams. I also can't find Manny Ramirez or David Ortiz anywhere on the lists.

6. I realize that.
I saw Manny Alexander was out there for a bunch of teams as well, but my point was that the Orioles aren't exactly "clean" in this area either. People in glass houses and all...

7. Too funny! Especially coming from a Clippers fan!

Being a Pirates fan, I know that we cannot afford the Roid ragers!

9. Guys like Barry Bonds?

Maybe people start taking roids so they can get out of Pittsburgh?

I'm not a Clippers fan, I was going to change my Avatar back to the Red Sox after showing my Detroit solidarity with Armando Galaraga, when I saw this poor Clippers logo. It just looked so lonely like a lost puppy, so I adopted it for a little while. At least until the Clippers start playing again.

Sorry for missing your point last night. I missed the "Roid Sox" part in the OP.
