The only game I watched today is UCLA-Kansas St which is still on.

2. Robinson played the whole game at QB, Jon...

..and very, very well I might add. Obviously. Forcier spent the last five minutes of the game off by himself on the back of the bench. Head wrapped in a towel. The ABC cameras took notice. Not much of a team player, this lad.

4. Not a Big East kind of day

6. I was really happy with the offense

Dennard Robinson looked superb and the clock control was magnificent. Offensive line didn't give up any sacks and there were no Michigan turnovers. I was concerned about how the defense would play; they gave up a couple of big plays (including that spectacular juggled catch) but, overall, played better than I expected. Special teams need some work, though. Although the wind grabbed that first field goal attempt; it was really swirling and just knocked the ball down.

All in all, though, I'm VERY pleased. Go Blue!

7. We'll see what happens when they play real teams

Last year Michigan did well until they got into Big 10(11) play. Then they went 2-6. So we shall see.

But still, it's clear that Robinson is the perfect player for this offense, and I think RichRod should have given him more snaps last year.

As for Forcier, give the kid a break. What kind of competitor is happy riding the pine? Given the role of the QB in this offense, I think the #2 guy can expect snaps every game, and the #3 guy had better be ready too.

The real problem is the defense. Apart from that juggling catch, UConn had lots of big plays that were there but featured either bad throws or bad catches. This could have been a one-score game quite easily.
