That was one hell of a game!

I wish I could of watched the whole thing, but I finally sold my my '65 Mustang.

So there was no upset of a top ten team. But there were a couple of other upsets.

They are talking about Boise State being in the Fictional National Championship. Hell, This is only the first fucking game!

2. Definitely an exciting game

Gotta give credit to both teams for a hard-fought game. VaTech didn't fold after being down early and Boise State kept their composure after giving up a big lead.

And great fun to watch--a great way to end the first weekend of the season. :bounce:

5. Hey, I had a '65 Mustang. a red fastback.

Loved that little buggy. Drove it for a couple of years in the early 70s 'til my girlfriend borrowed it, ignored a red light, and got it stove up. She was fine, the car was a mess. Oh well...was more fun than a football game (girlfriend and car)...

Back and forth, lots of great plays, just fun to watch. Except for the Hokies' uniforms, that is.

8. It was a good game..

I'm not going to be calling Boise State a cupcake anymore...they can play with anyone in the nation. Problem is, they still have a wimpy schedule. I'd like to see what they can do playing in a major conference.

Until Boise proves they can take the rigors of playing in a top flight conference week in and week out, they don't deserve as much respect as those that successfully do..
