1. And they go out on a completed catch (hear that Lions fans) out of bounds a half yard short.
Oops

3. They didn't even bother to review it, because it was so obvious.
Six first downs.

:wtf:

13. How does a pro run such a terrible route?
You've gotta know where the sticks are... and he didn't even try to stretch the ball out... just trotted out of bounds like it was a first down play.

4. Didn't see the second half
I watched the first half at a sports bar because I don't have cable but it was getting late so I left. I also got to see a couple innings of the Rockies-Padres game! :bounce:

Anyways LaDanian Tomlinson had a nice YPC. It was nice to see Boldin get 100+ yards in receiving. :bounce:

7. What's funny is that a QB from a third rate school in the Big Ten won the SB
last year.

Hmmm.

8. And it took him longer than 1 season and 1 game
to win the Super Bowl.

9. And then,
Edited on Mon Sep-13-10 10:46 PM by madinmaryland
there was a certain QB from the Big Ten that won three in four years, and don't forget the QB from the obscure university that Zac Dysert leads now, that won a Super Bowl in his first season and then another just very recently.

Edited to add for all those Pac10 fans out there: There was a QB from a perennial also-ran school in the PAC-10 that produced a very good QB in the early 90's that won THREE Super Bowls!

:D

10. They look just plain awful
I really didn't care who won, but I'm so glad the Jets lost. Just to see Rex Ryan get shut down was hilarious.

12. The Ravens didn't have much in the way of scoring either, but...
they pretty much owned the Jets in every way possible except for the crowd cheering.

15. Sanchez is in the running for the coveted JaMarcus Russell Award for Crappy Quarterbacking
but the favorite still has to be the Niners' Alex Smith. :puke:

18. Now, now. Dilfer won a Super Bowl.
Many other quarterbacks, including some who shall remain nameless but are excellent golfers :P , have not.
