The Reds clinched the NL Central tonight |
|
And did it in dramatic fashion with a game winning Jay Bruce home run in the 9th.

and Dusty Baker. Ha Ha LaRussa the genius who bats his pitcher 8th in the lineup.

4. Good. Maybe now the Cardinals will realize it's time to fire LaRussa |
|
No disrespect meant to the Reds, who stayed consistent pretty much all year, but the Cardinals gave up in August. They've all but quit on LaRussa.

6. Hopefully I get to see Mike Leake in the playoffs |
|
He just got off DL but it is unclear if he is going to pitch anytime soon. Dusty Baker seems to be taking it cautiously with him.

I went to a Nats game where there were OODLES of Philly fans and they were EXTREMELY well behaved folks. I think its only a few drunk ones that give them a bad name. Also I've heard alot of nice things from people about their players (Chase Utley does animal rescue) and I went and saw Jimmy Rollins place..he has a lot of picnics for inner city kids at his really really nice house. In fact Philly is my second favorite team behind the Nats...

10. Check out Zimmerman's walkoff against the Phils |
|
From about a month ago---Philly fan actually threw a bottle at a flying baseball. Happened as the ball flew over the fence.
