5. congrats. my Reds had a great year, but their hitting has been weak the past few wks & Rolen didn't |

finish good at all, so despite good pitching, we got beat by the Phils $140mil team of superpitchers. My hope is that Lincecum (my fave pitcher) can show some freak-tastic skill and shutout the Phils 1-0 against Halladay! I'm a Giants fan for now!!!

6. I was actually sort of hoping that the Reds would be in the NLCS |
|
So we could've seen a Lincecum-Arroyo matchup-
The West Coast Freak vs. the Cuban Freak.
Who wouldn't want to see that?

16. And yet who is in the playoffs, and who is rebuilding? |
|
Sorry, but I've had this on my mind this post season. I love the Cubbies, but, as we've learned since Baker left, there was much more to the tale.

8. I was secretly hoping the Giants would get the winning run |
|
by a walk when the bases were loaded. It *almost* happened, but this is the 2nd best scenario (for a Giants fan, anyway).

They will get swept by the Phillies.

23. and likewise, winning a few close games against the Reds despite their horrible defensive play |
|
doesn't bode too well for the Phils offense! The Giants pitching starters and their closer are better, imo, than the Phils starters and their.... closer.
