walking Hamilton made it two. Girardi is really going be second guessed. I realize Hamilton was hot and Guerrero was struggling, but walking him like that and putting an extra runner on base for Vlad is just asking for it. Considering what happened afterward, Girardi's decision turned out to be the biggest play of the game..

2. I didn't realize I misspoke. I meant that when Vlad came to the plate there were two on.

You really don't walk the man in front of Guerrero in order to pitch to him. That's one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen. Worse even than Jim Tracy making Gagne throw something like 42 pitches over 2+ innings. That was pretty much the end of Gagne's career.
