Molina has a chance at two rings..
Traded from San Francisco to Texas on July 1, Molina finds himself in the unusual position of being eligible for a World Series ring with two potential participants. If the Giants, who lead the National League Championship Series, three games to two, finish off the Phillies, and join Texas in the World Series, Molina will earn his second championship ring no matter who wins.

So, if the Giants go on to meet the Rangers in the World Series, Molina will get a ring regardless of who wins. That's a mighty odd position to be in, but it couldn't happen to a nicer guy..

1. Scary about Molina...
should the Giants make the World Series he'll have intimate knowledge of 3/4s the starting pitching staff and most the bullpen.

3. That's crossed my mind too..
but I'll take it, if the Giants can just get there....which, right now, I'm not feeling too confident about.

4. They have a fighting chance as long as they don't make mistakes

5. History is against them..
sometimes I think real live curses do exist and the Giants have got a Cubs like one on them. I mean, how else do you explain the slip in the outfield in '87, the earthquake in '89, the winning of 103 games in '93 and not even making the playoffs, game 6 in '02, and the Cruz dropped fly ball in '03?

I'm just not feeling real optimistic..

6. Having Sandoval on the bench is no help
The starting third baseman is not playing because he's a defensive liability? That's bad. And it isn't helping Uribe is batting .091 by swinging at shit in the dirt.

That being said, I think they still have a chance if Sanchez has an outing like he did against Atlanta, or Cain as he did in game 2. Seeing Torres work the count and consistently get on base in game 5 was encouraging as was Posey's game 4. Now if they can put it all together for one game.
