1. Probably for the first time this year, my money is on the Giants
I didn't think they could pull this off from last spring, when I picked the Dodgers.

However, the Giants pitching makes a believer out of me.

8. they have some awesome pitchers- as did Philly - really nice match-ups
go Giants (the closest my Pirates will get to the World Series is from former players!)

3. Both teams are
sort of Cinderella stories. If the Giants weren't in it, I'd probably be rooting for the Rangers. I just think it's good for baseball to finally see some new blood in the World Series..

7. Against RH pitching...yeah
but you know how he's weak from the right side. So, when the Rangers throw a lefty, I would think Rowand or Burrell would be the obvious choices. Of course, all that can be thrown out of whack if the Torres' injury affects his availability, then Aaron is going to be needed in CF..

I trust Bochy to make the right moves. Heck, he's been doing almost everything right so far.

5. I'm generally an NL fan...
as long as it's not the Phillies, so I'm probably going to cheer for the Giants.
Although, I think the Rangers will be the eventual winners. So I chose them in the poll.

6. I ahve no clue...I do think SF beating Philly is the bigger upset, though...
Spankmes were stinking it up towards the end of the season...hard to say...did they play each other in inter-league?
