1. The Lakers fans love Kobe, Pitt love Ben Rapelisberger, Philly loves
that murderous thug...it's really sad how much people will overlook when the dick is on your own team.

And no, Curt never raeped or killed anything, or made a mockery if the game, so there isnt that comparison, although he is a dick.

12. Philly does NOT love Vick.
You aren't here so please refrain from speaking for us. He is hated here and is an embarrassment. I never cheered one of my own players getting hurt until Vick. It's just a shame we didn't have Jackson last week else Kolb would have nailed down the starting job for the rest of the year. We hate Vick.

3. Who did more harm to this country...Bush or Bonds?
I'm sure the Rangers "daddy" will be seen is in his accustomed seat next to Nolan Ryan when the series returns to Arlington. Where he'll receive a thunderous ovation from the overwhelming red Rangers crowd...

You're on the wrong side of this one my friend. Perhaps it would be in your best interest if you limited the discussion to just the baseball.

8. Bonds was as bad for baseball
As Bush was to this country. I love baseball, so I hate cheating dickweeds who ruin it as much as I hate lying slimy incompetent politicos.

9. So if you are a real baseball fan you just should ignore
the people who knowingly cheated and damaged something that you love? Fuck that shit. Bonds can go to hell and any and all the suck ups in SF don't deserve any respect from me.
Personally, I think Josh Hamilton is much more admirable than any SF player anyway.

11. well, i personally think it's the public's fault for glorifying athletic prowess
too much. (and the media) We heap adulation on athletes who perform really well, many players feel they can't compete without enhancements, and then everyone is horrified when they do use substances.

 We want to have our cake and eat it, too. And there's a bit of hypocrisy in endlessly creating more and more punishments for athletes and criminalizing things that many athletes did in the past with no consequences other than physical ones. I don't like it. It becomes a Catch 22- and then we villify the athletes that we were salivating over the year before.

I don't like what Bonds has allegedly done, but the pressure to perform created a monster to some extent.

No Frisco here in California. People think there must be this Mythical place called FRISCO in California that has Unicorns and Trolls. Sorry, no place like that here.
