Yankee losing streak now at six . . .

yup, they got beat by the Twins . . . now 0-4 on the current road trip, including a sweep by the A's . . . on a six game slide that started with a 17-1 lashing by the Sox . . . they look terrible, and genuinely overmatched by all these teams of youngsters . . . I think their record is now .500 again, and will probably be considerably worse by the time they finish the current trip . . . which ends with three against the Cards . . .

just shows to go ya . . . you can have all the money in the world, but you can't buy your way into a championship . . . the Yanks have proven that consistently since 2001, and it's never been more evident than right now . . . my prediction remains that they won't make the playoffs this year . . . their pitching just isn't championship caliber . . .
