5. The NFC North looks just plain bad right now.

It's ugly, especially when one considers that the Vikings and Packers were supposedly Super Bowl contenders when the season began.

The Vikings, at 2-4, are not out of it by any means. The Packers running game was for shit on Sunday. If the Vikings didn't have the injuries on secondary so that the Packers could pick on Cook all night long, it would have been a different outcome (don't even get me started on the non-touchdown the Packers got and the shitty call on Shainco's TD). Not sure what happens with Favre's broken ankle, but at this point T-Jack couldn't be much worse than Brett has been.

and both teams are 4-3. So even if the bears were 6-1, the Packers would still be in the race because there is a lot of football left to be played.
