8. The original Senators are now the Minnesota Twinkies.
The team currently getting its ass kicked by the Giants was the expansion Senators team.

That's true, friend, these Rangers had their start as the expansion version of the Washington Senators, which took the place of the original Senators (which became the Twins) in 1961.

These expansion Senators, to my knowledge, had posted only one winning season in Washington - 1969 (86 wins, 76 losses).
