4. It's too damned hot for a Business-person's special anyway

We had tickets Tuesday, Saturday night (only went for one game), and this coming Wednesday. That's a lot of baseball!

Hoping the heat will have broken by then.

They just finished a thirteen-game home stand 12-1.

Friends and colleagues were brutal this year when I said I had season tickets "Oh, it's going to be a long summer" or "well, there's money down the drain." Not such a bad investment after all - got to see 3 great games from this home stand.

And on top of that, the eye candy is playing particularly well - Burrell and Utely -- hunky home run hitters -- what more can a lifelong Phillies fan ask for? (well, okay, maybe just a tad more strength in the bullpen, but still..)
