5. The Sox make it a habit

to break our hearts and cause great anxiety at various points throughout the season. If I didn't love Manny so much...sigh.
They're still my boys and I have permission from my husband to have an affair with Johnny Damon or Jason Variteck. I don't know why he laughs his ass off when I remind him.

7. Morris definitely had the Sox's number last night.

He only gave up 4 hits, 1 walk, and 1 run over 9 innings, and he did it on 101 pitches.

The Sox offense doesn't get shut down like that too often, so Morris deserves credit for a great game. We'll see how Suppan does tonight, he's had a couple of stints in a Red Sox uniform, so they know him, and hopefully, they'll be able to get to him early (and often! }( )
