We read the book in English class recently, and saw the movie, it was great. How about the Portland Cheswicks or Hardings :D.

10. Mock them all you want, |
|
but unlike the Cards they play in a division with 3 solid teams (4 if you count the Yankees), they are staying afloat in this division on a limited budget, and they've actually won a couple of world series in the last 20 years.

8. you've made me a believer, Kleebster . . . |
|
not necessarily that the O's will win the division . . . but that they'll finish ahead of the Yankees, as will Boston . . . and maybe even Toronto . . . no playoffs for for the pinstripes this year . . . not even close . . .

Somehow I see the O's and the Pirates playing each other and that song comes to mind. Can't imagine why.
The Pirates...my favorite team this week, next to the Brewers. ;)

of that series, fucking Willie Stargell, on a funny note I later went to grade school with his nephew. And you know something, I like the Cards this week :) and I think the Cubs this weekend ha. Thanks though, but you wont be able to gain back first place on paper until the weekend, and because we're good at avoiding losing streaks, I dont think we will lose it anytime soon.
