The PGA is hoping that Tiger is back
I am interested in seeing what the ratings will be today. Everyone knows that Tiger is still the man who drives ratings. He seems to be playing well and against competition.

1. Tiger is simply the greatest golfer in my lifetime...
I see no way that this scandal has finished him.

3. It's just a matter of his getting his personal problems off his plate

so he can re-focus on his game. And you'd better believe the PGA will welcome him with open arms: lacking a great white hope to replace him with, I imagine their fortunes have begun to circle the drain.

2. It is funny to me the Chevron tournament was big news just because Tiger was leading
I personally thought the tour was over or is the '11 tour? I didn't think the 11' tour started until January.

5. McDowell beats Tiger in Sudden Death
Not surprising, the Euros are starting to dominate.

6. Incredible finish
Clutch beyond description from McDowell the last three holes, starting with a 40 yard backtrack up a hill after a greenside unplayable lie. I don't think I've ever seen a strategic decision like that.

Tiger was obviously stunned after McDowell drained the long putts on the final two holes. He shook hands graciously but Tiger thought he won it after the great approach on 18.

7. I wish I could of seen the full highlights
I caught the local sports show and they just showed Tiger's double bogey and a shot got him within 3 feet of the pin. All they did was show McDowell's two long putts but it was mostly Tiger. Would of loved to see what you described. I'm sure Sportscenter likely had better highlights but I don't have cable.

9. Thanks
I couldn't get it to load even though the preview was in great quality. I have a cheap PC so videos are hit or miss for me. I can watch anything youtube but nothing on the Daily Show website for instance.

I'll have to try it later on another computer. I got this thread bookmarked.

10. This video includes a clip of McDowell's predicament on #16
Just past the 30 second mark. He was perhaps 20 feet from the hole but the lie was unplayable and even two full club lengths wouldn't have changed anything. So he retreated back up the hill to the edge of a tee box 40 yards away to hit a blind severely downhill shot. Got it up and down to save bogey, and leave the hole tied with Tiger instead of a shot or two behind. Remarkable strategy and execution.

13. Beg to differ
His caddy is set for life. Every Pro knows the golden egg is Tiger.
