3. Hey...I can't help it that "Romo" is the new verb for turning over the ball |
|
I hate to see anyone get hurt, but Romo's injury has definitely helped his team.

4. No. The thing that has helped the Cowboys is the loss of Wade Phillips. |
|
Should have canned his ass after the debacle against the Eaglets a couple of years ago.

They still lost two games by a combined total 80-24 where Kitna throw 6 interceptions in those two games. Including 4 interceptions against one of the worst pass defenses in the league(Jacksonville). He did get 379 yards but his YPA against Green Bay was just 6.1. I'll still take Romo's 7.5. Kitna is playing very well though. 65%, 7.68 YPA, 10 TDs to 8 Ints.(Romo was 69%, 7.5 YPA, 11 TDs to 7 Ints) I'm not sure if it is updated but Kitna was 18/26 with 167 yards, 1 TD for just a 6.4 YPA. I give more credit to Dallas 217 rushing yards and Manning's 4 turnovers for Dallas winning that game than solely Kitna.

6. I'm not so much saying it's Kitna as much as the absence of Romo |

And the 'Boys had a lot of luck, seeing as they don't defend the pass all that well.

9. Uhh. The Boys picked off Peyton twice for TD's. That was definitely |

the margin of victory.

11. Are you serious? Research Romo's stats since he's been a starter. |
|
His play compares with the greats. All QBs make bad choices, ie Manning today, but Romo has had OL issues for the last two years and the broken collar bone, and turnovers, were the result.
The coaching change seems to have made the difference and Kitna has been superlative, but Romo will get us to the promised land if he can get protection and a ground game...he had neither.
I have not been a fan of JG, but he's winning me over. Something has changed within the Dallas organization since JG's take over, he seems like entirely different person.
