Looks like the NHL and NHLPA have come to terms on the structure for a salary cap. This makes it pretty likely that they'll have a complete deal hammered out soon.

A hard salary cap, and a 24% pay cut. It looks like the only thing they did get out of the deal is the ability to actually play next season...
