Last regular week (is that a collective sigh of relief I hear...?). A full slate of games, many with actual playoff implications. Can we expect New England, Chicago, and Philly to rest starters? Anyone else -- K.C.? Jets?

That being said, some of these spreads are unreal. Philadelphia by 12? Atlanta by 14 1/2? Mmmm....

Looks like RagAss will take first place unless something drastic happens, but the battle for second place is still very real. I'll be thrilled to finish .500.

18. I didn't feel good at all this week due to the spreads

I think I took mostly underdogs on the higher spreads and teams like Atlanta still covered.

I think I will post standings on the playoff thread. I was wondering if you want me to do it like last year? Crown a regular season champ but keep going with the standings through the playoffs? And also do a separate standings for just playoffs?

I think with new comers and I imagine we'll get some for the playoffs I will just keep them in the playoff standings and just add the regulars in the regular standings if they decide to play.

but by all means, please crown a regular season champ.

One thing about the playoffs I want to do is ask everyone to play every week. If you miss one -- even one game -- you're out. There's no concern over winning percentage this way and it's fair for everybody. Eleven games is not an impossible committement. So yes, this would constitiute keeping separate standings.

I suggest doing what you have the time for. Sounds like a lot of extra math keeping current standings updated.
