It's Greg Maddux day in Chicago.
The Cubs are brutalizng Sox pitching at Wrigley field.

Maddux has had control of Sox bats through 6 innings, holding the Sox to 4 hits and 2 runs through 6. Just to add insult to injury, Maddux hits a solo homer off Halama. Ouch!!

1. Who cares?
I saw the Sox win it all in my lifetime...too bad you won't see the Cubbies do it in yours...

2. Perhaps
But WE can still see a game in Wrigley whenever we want without having to pay $70 to sit in the damn bleachers.

Nyah!

3. Hey, I'm a Sox fan.
I've got a picture of me posing with the World Series 'Bling' at Fenway last weekend, but an ugly game is an ugly game....and this one sure ain't pretty.

9. Thank you matcom!
I'm sorry I let that other Sox fan make me so mad. A little wink can turn an insult into a good-natured ribbing. Without something good-natured to point to, an insult is just an insult.

And I still don't know if the guy was serious. If he wasn't, my appologies to him. If he was, well then my previous post was too. (as was the deleted one from the other thread)

5. Halama.
Doesn't it seem like he gets worse every year?

7. The Sox bullpen has had me chewing antacids all season.
Halama, Embree and Foulke are all performing way below expectations so far.

I just hope the Sox get the bullpen situation under control pretty soon, or this could be a tough season to watch. Baltimore isn't going to sit back and wait for us, we have to go catch them, and we better start doing that.
