Ok east coasters, it's time for real NFL football
The Packers at the Bears. Oldest rivalry in the NFL. The two teams that have the most titles between them.
The Packers are rolling right now. It's obvious why the Bears coach played his regulars in the regular season finale against the Packers. He wanted nothing to do with the mighty Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.
GO PACK GO!

1. It's a chump match.
The two teams from the NFC that could have won the Super Bowl were eliminated last week...this is a match-up to determine who is going to remain in contention to lose to the Jets.

2. If that were so...they'd still be contending, now wouldn't they?

14. Bears are a no. 2 seed
And that's because they played very well. Packers had many injuries to starters but the man who should be coach of the year but won't be, Mike McCarthy, did a great job of bringing this team together. Great matchup. No chumps here. Pittsburgh will beat the Jets. Green and Gold vs. Black and Gold. Green and Gold wins.
GO PACK GO!

20. For your sake, I hope it isn't close
and comes down to clock management because McCarthy sucks at that. Doesn't strike me as overly smart, either.

Packers D is frickin' tough, though. If they Bears don't go to Forte often and hard, it will not go well for them.

5. I call "Horseshit!"
The Steelers/'49'ers plus any other team also equals the most titles between them.

7. Bears have 9 titles
8 NFL Championships and 1 Super Bowl victory. The Packers have 12. 9 NFL Championships (pre-merger) and 3 Super Bowls. The 49ers have 5 Super Bowls and Steelers have 6. Neither team won a championship pre-merger.

but "most titles" is technically correct. I personally count the Cardinals' 1947 title. However I think they should give their 1925 title to Pottsville. The Maroons earned it that year.

8. What BS...
Super Bowl Titles..

Steelers-6

Cowboys-5

49ers-5

Packers-3

Bears-1

The Bears and Packers combined have fewer SB wins than 3 other teams do individually. Like it or not, the standard by which a team is measured is Super Bowl titles, not just "titles"..

10. Super Bowl has been around since '67
I think that's more than enough time for the Bears and Packers to have proved themselves by way of Super Bowl victories. If their fans need to go back any further to support their dubious "most titles" claims, it only means the Bears and Packers have been found wanting in the modern era.

21. I love drawing arbitrary lines.
Can we draw the line at Free Agency? Because the fuckin Steelers would not have 4 of those wins if they weren't able to keep all those guys together.

I can't tell you how many times Cboy-Upton would bring up the fact the the Giants had more than one title as a team...pre-San Fran.

13. I wasn't going to comment on your complete ridiculousness
And I (almost) won't now. Except that the NFL has been around since the early 20th century. Sorry if you don't give a damn about actual history.
Like it or not, the NFL has a long history and the Green Bay Packers have 12 titles and the Chicago Bears have 9. Sorry you can't rewrite history.

23. Yes, your response is pure BS.
Just because the NFL chose to give its championship game a hyper name, doesn't negate all the championships won prior to that hyper title.

22. My idea of a real NFL game
Any combination of: Bears, Packers, Giants, Redskins, Steelers.

Played outdoors. In snow or sleet.

Final score: 10 - 7.

Go Bears!!!!
