NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said (via Dallas Morning News) the decision to leave the roof closed was a decision made well in advance of the 2011 Super Bowl so that they could focus on other logistics.

I was at this game---the famous Leon Lett brain fart game against Miami--- it was fiercely cold and miserable.

If they were really cheerleaders who led cheers I wouldn't mind them, but they are just dance teams, really, and I hate how the cameras keep cutting to them.

Yet another reason to love this Super Bowl.

don't need dance teams with supermodel looks and 10-cent brains.

Their own fans are the best cheerleaders.
