The Best Conference Tourney Starts Today
I may be a Big Ten fan, but even I know the best tourney is The Big East Tournament.

1. I don't know if the NCCA champion will come from the Big East this year, but they
do have the deepest conference, and it always provides many entertaining games.

3. Come on joey. You are really being misled by the MAC group led by
the Notre Dame Fighting Amish and the Big East wannabe's.

9. The regular season in the Big East is a real slug fest. Everyone comes out bruised.
In the tournament, however, the gloves are back on as they position themselves for the real tournament.

If the Big Ten had 16 teams, we would have 11 teams in, also.

Goddammit, Condem!! You made me go there. FUCK!

6. LOL, mad.
Seriously. Three Big Ten teams have a legitimate shot at the Sweet Sixteen. That's it. I'd say eight Big East teams do.

7. Spoiler
Big upset today. South Florida over Villanova. I'm sure some will think Villanova is on the bubble now. I think they deserve to get in.

10. They may have blown their chances...that's 5 losses in a row...
no bubble team gets in ending their season on that kind of losing streak. To think they were once ranked in the top 5!!!

8. The deepest conference, but a nearly meaningless tournament.
It's too long. Too many teams, too many games. The lowest seeds are required to win five games to win the tournament. The very top seeds know that they will keep their NCAA standing with just one or two wins.

On paper, the Big East Tournament is fantastic. In reality, it doesn't live up to its billing.
