1. When you stick the knife in the Pistons, be sure to check for a pulse
I think the Spurs thought they had them on the ropes and came unprepared for tonight.

2. The Spurs kicked ass the first 2, but those were not the Pistons...
I've seen the last few years. Not taking anything away from SA who absolutely dominated, but that was not the way Detroit has played any game, any series since the core was put together. Perhaps that was San Ant's doing but still....

I'm trying SOOO hard to dislike the Spurs and I was almost there until the crowd cheered for Arroyo when he got up after his injury in game 2. At that point, the homer thing is all that kept me rooting for the stones because San Antonio is obviously a great team but they have great fans too. They must vote democrat in that there town. :toast:

3. Pistons got lucky!
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 04:14 PM by Johnywolf
They are not even supposed to be in the finals. Just because a lot of Heat players are injured that whythey are there. Heat is way better team than Pistons. Also I hated the fact that Pistons fans booed the Spurs and expressed their unhappiness after almost every foul was given to the Pistons. Althouhg many people think that Pistons are underrarted, they are overrated, there are many teams in NBA, who can beat Pistons: Heat, Suns, Sonics, Mavericks just to name a few. They are an average team who just got lucky! I got nothing against Pistons, but you can't call Pistons the champs! Also Pistons owe their luck to their fans who are very loud and who put a lot of pressure on incoming teams.

4. Just out of curiosity...
who won the NBA championship last year? Hmmm?

Who also made it back to the NBA finals this year? Hmmm?

Was it the Heat? Suns? Sonics? Mavericks? Hmmm?

Riddle me that, friend.

5. Luck
Shaq , Wade and Jones played while injured. Last year it was luck. While I gotta give Pistons cridit for beating the Spurs in game 4,it is not that Pistons were good, the Spurs sucked. I have never seen Spurs suck so much. Spurs will still win this thing. I think so and most NBA fans think so.
