It's going to be a good year for football in the US.

EDIT*** Don't forget that Salt Lake is hosting Saprissa tonight in the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals!!!

1. Yes!!
I don't have a team because there isn't any here. I usually default to Colorado teams in those situations but Colorado just won a title so I don't feel comfortable hopping on their bandwagon. I'm probably just going to wait for Arizona to get a team(which I doubt will happen soon) and root for them.

Can't say I'll catch any games due to a lack of cable. The only soccer I watch is on Telemundo. Mexico league.

2. There have been encouraging rumblings lately about AZ's suitability for a club
The MLS Commissioner proceeded to cite several markets that are involved in discussions with the league office: San Diego, Arizona, Las Vegas, Detroit, San Antonio, South Florida and Atlanta, where a potential ownership group is led by Arthur Blank, owner of the NFL's Falcons.

The talks with San Diego and Arizona were described as happening “very recently.”

I would love to see an expansion team in Arizona (or Atlanta, or the Carolinas) rather than a second club in NY. So many teams were down in AZ for spring training this year, and I read loads of articles with the Sounders praising the facilities.

4. I would watch that before I bothered with the NCAA tournament
Now is the year for Forkboy to turn on to the Beautiful Game!

5. I haven't watched any NCAA b-ball in years.
Just can't get into it anymore for some reason. I actually like soccer, and usually catch quite a few random games. I don't follow any one league, and just find a game online when the urge strikes me. I watched a lot last year, and cut down on the baseball watching instead.
