New limited edition Giants cap commemorates World Series ring ceremony


A new San Francisco Giants cap, featuring the SF logo embroidered completely in gold, will be worn by the World Series champs when they take the field on Saturday, Apr. 9 against the St. Louis Cardinals. That's the day the Giants will conduct their World Series ring ceremony at AT&T Park. The cap, made by New Era, also features a gold-bordered MLB logo on the back.

That gold SF logo is cool. I seriously need a new Giants cap. I might just get one of these..

2. I don't get it...
$70.00??? Are Los Gigantes becoming elitist? What about the 1000s of fans of more modest means that can't afford this? Was the gold logo really necessary? The Giants have always been at the forefront of giving to charitable causes and raising awareness about issues such as AIDS and breast cancer. Please tell me....the profits are going to charity, right?
