New Giants' Showtime preview leaked...
Most of you already know that your favorite baseball team and reigning World Series champions are the subject of a summer-long series on Showtime, called "The Franchise." The premier episode will air on April 13.

Check out this three-minute preview, found on YouTube...

Looks good. I currently have Showtime turned off on my DirecTV...but after looking at this, I may have to change that status.

1. I still hate it
Not intentionally dumping on your post Upton, but as I've stated elsewhere I just hate the added circus the team has to deal with.

Will I watch? As long as I continue to get free Showtime, yeah.

2. That's okay..
I think I've mentioned I have some concerns about this being a distraction myself. Sure was a nice clip though.

How come you get free Showtime? I just hopped on over to DirecTV, and it's going to cost me $12.99 a month..

5. Got a year of free premium channels by switching
from Comcast to U-verse -- dozens of them.

That also included the NFL Network and Thursday Night Football. :)

4. I think these kind of things are good for the fans
get to know the players in a way that isn't heavily influenced by the media. This way is still the media but it is a lot more personal. With the filming, they probably get used to it after awhile. I understand your concerns though.

Twitter is great for players to connect with fans but on occasions, they have got themselves in trouble saying something stupid.

3. I think April 13 is a 'Family Affair' marathon on TV Network.
Damn. Really looking forward to this, Upton. But I do loves me some Muffy.
