2. Watched some MLS for the first time ever this week (Houston v. Seattle) |
|
I might have to reconsider my "What's soccer?" stance. It was really enjoyable.

3. That really was a good match (except for me, I was tearing my hair out by the roots) |

4. The 2nd Javier Martina goal (TFC vs. PTFC) should be up there. |
|
That kind of connection just does not happen often. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw1baFS4BIQ

5. A Route 1 goal? Bite your tongue! |
|
Nice touch on the finish, but Route 1 has no exits to Top 5

So you go with the mundane. It's your top five.

7. I went with poaching instinct, technical ability, vision, vision and vision |
|
Which of those five goals are mundane (Apart from Zak's goal, but screw it, Seattle finally scored a goal, and it's my list so neener)?

1 goal in 270 minutes...1 point out of 3 games. This may be a long season. The Sounders haven't been the same since Ljungberg left.

10. 47 shots so far...in three games |
|
We've had 47 shots in three games...sooner or later, some opposing GK is not going to have the game of his life, and the roof is gonna blow right the hell off. Did you see the Houston match? It was unreal. We looked like friggin Barcelona out there, and fucking Tally Hall was absolutely insane in the Houston goal.
Don't even get me started on Ljungberg. Sigi ran him off, ran Nkufo off, and is trying his best to run Fernandez off.

12. I watched almost all of the first half.. |
|
then I got caught up in something else. At first I couldn't find it..looked at KONG, ESPN..finally I went to FSC. Sure, when the Dynamo scored it was completely against the run of play...and up until Zakuani's goal the Sounders haven't exactly been getting many breaks, but being an often times frustrated American Gooner.. I know that all the possession and chances in the world don't mean a thing unless you can finish..

13. The only truly good goals among the bunch was the Morales goal. |

The others were quite mundane. You also missed the Pappa goal which is definitely stronger than the others in the OP.

11. I don't know, but not many first names hold up against Amarikwa |
|
Fred Amarikwa? I don't think so. Quincy was a good choice.
