1. That sucks.
My second favorite pastime is rooting against the Yanks. But if they were playing an NL East team I guess I have to root for them too.

NEVER a good reason to root for the Yankees (before the last week, any way!).

3. They are playing the much despised and generally hated Cubs
I gotta. Although I admit, I will have to drink heavily to do it.

4. How do you think I am gonna feel
I may have to root for them if the Orioles remain in the playoff race so they can knock the Red Sox out of the hunt.

6. Yeah me rooting for the Yankees
Thats so disgusting but if the wild card stays in the potentail of the central AL, I may have to root for the Bronx Bastards, preferably while they're hopefully 20 games under 500 and no threat to us but beat around the Sox if they get to close to first place. Anyhow I dont think the Yankees will be 20 games below 500, its too ambitious, but then again did I think the Orioles would be in first place my last day of school, no I did not.

I swear to god I thought I saw Wild Bill Hagy on TV once, damn all we need know is Earl to pick a fight with Ron Luciano but I think Luciano killed himself. I cant wait to go to the game tonight, gonna get a media guide like I always do, a hat, and maybe a good book too.

13. Hmm.

I guess I understand. I root for the Yankees whenever they play the Diamondbacks, which is a purely emotional decision unrelated to division standings. The good thing about this is that I actually was able to attend a couple games at Yankee Stadium, in June 2002, and root for the Yankees vs. the Snakes.

14. Nothin to think about for me, the Yankees need to sweep the Cubs
I have been to Yankee Stadium, a few times. There is something magic about that decrepit, rusty old house. I was actually there on September 11 2002, 1 Year anniversary. Very moving

15. Anything that has the Mets playing the Bosox and Yanks is good.
I'm all for it.

In fact, I want to realign the whole damned league according to geography. I don't care if the Mets, Sox or Nats EVER play on the West Coast again. I really don't. I want the Mets playing the teams in Amtrak's northeastern corridor, plus Chicago and St. Louis. Nothing further west than that.
