5. Hey..how come it says Root Sports..
Edited on Fri Apr-01-11 05:22 PM by Upton
in the upper RH corner of the Rockies telecast?

Edit: never mind, I looked it up. I see they've also taken over FSN Northwest too..

6. FSN Rocky Mountain/Utah, Northwest and Pittsburgh is now Root Sports.
Just a name change. They are still owned by DirecTV. Glad they dropped the Fox moniker.

13. That's good news! My Dad, who watches every Pirates game, is abhorred
by the "Fox" network covering their games.

9. White Sox 15, Cleveland 10
Fautso Carmona, Cleveland ace, gave up 10 runs in 3 innings. Threw 88 pitches. Somehow the Tribe fought back from a 14-0 deficit by scoring 10 runs, but still lost -- brutal to score that much and not win.

10. That was a crazy game to scoreboard watch
25 runs on opening day hasn't happened since 1983 when the Padres defeated the Giants 16-13 and in the AL, 1950 when the Yankees beat the Red Sox 15-10.

Look. I've lived in KC, DFW and Denver. You figure it out.

16. Oh, it's not hard to figure you out.
I've lived in far more places than that, but I don't play, uh, that.
